3 Mobile Broadband Australia Slowing My Mail

I can not even read my mail in one attemp. I get a message saying to click on something to use standard html, some kind of bare bones version because the connection is so slow. When I send a mail it takes too long and usually comes back with a message saying mail not sent and that the connection has been terminated. many sites terminate their connection with my computer becayse they think my sesion has been disconnected due to the slow, should I say, no response. The modem is still connected showing the slow blinking blue light. It is so slow.
